2017 LAND Conference
Theme: Renewal

The 2017 LAND Conference will be held February 15-17, 2016 at the Shoreline Inn in Muskegon, Michigan.

    Student Competitions are open until December 9, 2016! (see below)

Lightning talks must last no more than 10 minutes and can focus on any aspect of promoting the Liberal Arts.

Lightning talks can

  • be inspirational
  • focus on a best practice
  • amuse and delight
  • report on research
  • highlight something in your classroom or campus
  • be on something that you think is worthwhile

Proposals for lighting talks will be accepted from full-time and part-time faculty, administrators, and staff.

2016 Student Competitions
Awarded at the 2017 LAND Conference

Each year, the Liberal Arts Network for Development sponsors four student competitions to recognize outstanding student work in the Liberal Arts: art, illustration, creative writing, and Student Scholars. Projects completed during the 2016 calendar year are eligible for these competitions. The deadline for all student competitions is December 9, 2016.
